STEM Outreach Programs

Our STEM outreach programs are specifically designed for both in school and out of school activities and are always open to the general public.

These events are focused on creating awareness about the opportunities in GeoSTEM and providing mentorship programs to bridge the gender disparity in STEM, while promoting positive role models.

STEM School

This program is designed to Inspire children to dream and engage in project-based learning with a focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and other activities like art, coding and robotics. The program focuses on assisting learners to develop a curiosity and interest in STEM fields from an early age, thus allowing them to develop new neural pathways and cognitive skills to solve real world challenges.

Mars Society Kenya University Clubs

These are our academic clubs and are available in our partnering institutions of learning of all levels (primary, secondary, tertiary) with the aim of providing students with a platform to engage in STEM projects, fostering collaboration, skill development, and networking opportunities within the industry.

This collaboration with interested learning institutions involves training sessions, workshops and projects that will not only enhance the skills of participating students but also connect them with influential figures in STEM fields. By creating these clubs, we aims to create a dynamic space for students to actively contribute to and benefit from the STEM community.

Mars Society Kenya Annual Inter-University Competition

This is an annual Mars Society Kenya Clubs’ event that comprises of both a Hackathon and Ideafest. The competition will in future be categorized into the three academic levels; Inter-University, Inter-Secondary and Inter-Primary.

The winning concepts are then used as prototypes for the final projects depending on need.

STEM & Space Curriculum

This Curriculum is implemented in all our STEM classes and can be taught both in-person and as an online content. It will also be the Core Learning Material of the Space Academy and we purpose to making it be accredited by a body that we shall deem best fit or as guided by the Kenya Space Policy.

These initiatives give kids in Kenya the opportunity to learn about space using telescopes and other tools, fostering inspiration in science and creativity.
